California airport will build lounge for first-class passengers

Mineta San Jose International Airport in San Jose, Calif., plans to build a $1.3 million lounge for first-class passengers. The lounge is part of an agreement with All Nippon Airways, which will begin service to the airport in 2013. "A lounge for premium customers is important to ANA and a commitment was made to ANA to have a lounge open by the time the Tokyo service launches, currently estimated to be early in 2013," said Bill Sherry, director of aviation for the airport.
