Flurry aims to leverage database in mobile AppSpot platform

Flurry has created AppSpot, an advertising platform for mobile applications, the analytics company disclosed Friday. AppSpot is aimed at assisting agencies, direct advertisers and ad networks in creating more targeted campaigns for clients as well as helping them reach a more valuable mix of users. Flurry said it would deploy its broad analytics database so that the company gets paid when advertisers earn incremental revenues by using its premium targeting methods.
