Indiana prepares to expand new teacher-evaluation system

A new teacher-evaluation system being piloted in six Indiana school districts soon will expand to every school throughout the state. Under the system, teachers will receive ratings of 1 to 4, with 1 as the lowest score -- based partly on student test scores -- and teachers could be dismissed for receiving just one low rating.
