Landing pages: The good, the bad and the ugly

Landing pages are where brands make their first impression online, writes Tara Hornor. Brands such as Yahoo! Small Business and Intuit offer simple, snappy and informative landing pages; many others, however, offer dull, bloated, cluttered or downright ugly landing pages. "Less persuasive landing pages are designed solely on hunches and opinions instead of rigorous testing," writes Hornor.
