Miss. to consider allowing Diabetic Alert Dogs in public places

Legislators in Mississippi will consider a bill that would allow Diabetes and Diabetic Alert Dogs to accompany their owners in schools and other public venues. The action was inspired by the case of a middle school science teacher whose request to bring her Diabetic Alert Dog, Jinx, to work with her has been denied by the school board without explanation.
