Boeing receives approval for 787 battery fix from FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved a proposal by Boeing to fix battery issues faced by the 787. "Today's approval from the FAA is a critical and welcome milestone toward getting the fleet flying again and continuing to deliver on the promise of the 787," said Jim McNerney, Boeing's chairman and CEO.
