Alaska Airlines to begin serving altitude-friendly wines

Alaska Airlines will begin offering two wines from Canoe Ridge's Exploration line this month that are specially crafted to be served at higher altitudes. "By adjusting the oak profile of the merlot and slightly increasing the sweetness of the pinot gris, we created a premium blend that closely mirrors what our customers enjoy at home," said Hal Landvoigt, director of winemaking at Canoe Ridge Exploration producer Precept Wine.
