Broadband a boon for Nebraska's businesses, poll says

Access to high-speed Internet service has enabled businesses in Nebraska to increase job creation and enhance their bottom line, according to a survey conducted on behalf the Nebraska Broadband Initiative. The poll of more than 1,100 companies found that more than 50% of newly filled jobs could be attributed to broadband, and the Internet is now responsible for generating as much as 45% of business revenues in the state.
