Enbridge advances plans for $7B pipeline replacement project

Enbridge has a $7 billion plan to replace a 1,000-mile, 50-year-old pipeline from Alberta, Canada, through North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. "The project is getting a stamp of approval from Minnesota's Office of Pipeline Safety," according to this article, but more permits are needed. If all are approved, work could start in 2015 and be finished in 2017.
