How Obama's budget proposal could affect imaging

President Barack Obama's 2015 budget proposal, which calls for prior authorization for advanced imaging services, could limit patient access to imaging, according to the Access to Medical Imaging Coalition. Research suggests such an approach could increase health care costs. The AMIC is instead calling for the use of appropriateness criteria developed by physicians.
