IAB redefines "view" in first glossary update since 2008

IAB has released an updated version of its glossary, and changes include elaboration on the word "skip" and the removal of the word "view" as a metric. The update adds "creative view" to the list to describe the uses of an ad's various technical versions or video codec. It is the first revision of the glossary since 2008 -- "an eternity" for the Internet, according to IAB's Sherrill Mane.
