Ind. airport seeks to bring more students on-site for lessons

High-school students in Dubois County, Ind., could get a head start toward a career in aviation mechanics through a program proposed by flight mechanic Eric Seber, who works at the Huntingburg Airport. Seber is working with local schools and the Dubois County Airport Authority to put a plan together that would bring students to the airport a couple of times a week to build a Sonex kit aircraft. "[T]his is one way to get them (students) out to the airport, get their parents out to the airport, bring some visibility to what goes on out here, and hopefully spark a career interest," Seber said.
