La. university to host summer career workshops for students

Southeastern Louisiana University will help junior- and high-school students explore careers, ranging from animation to automotive technology during summer workshops. The Zoom into Careers program seeks to introduce students to a range of career pathways, including those that require four-year and two-year degrees and industry certifications. "Our four-day workshops are designed to explore the variety of career paths available in each of these exciting fields," said Charlotte Collins, director of non-credit programs at the university. "Participants attending Zoom workshops are exposed to a real work environment that focuses on teamwork and project completion."
