Tynker iPad app allows children to learn code

The startup Tynker is already used by over 8,000 schools to teach the basics of coding and it now has an iPad application too. Tynker makes use of HTML5, Javascript and open-Web languages to teach kids the fundamentals of coding. Firms like NEA, NewSchools Venture Fund and 500 Startups have provided $3.25 million in seed funding to further Tynker's efforts.
