Passport to peace: Tourism helps Central America rebound

Tourists are broadening their Central American horizons beyond the ever-popular Costa Rica and discovering beautiful destinations with violent pasts. In some cases, the ex-revolutionaries are the ones spearheading tourism development. Many past and present Sandinistas now head real estate companies in Nicaragua and are working to attract travelers to the country, The Wall Street Journal reports.
