Medtronic constant blood monitoring devices approved for youths

Medtronic received FDA approval for its Guardian Real-Time System glucose monitor and its Paradigm Real-Time System insulin pump that incorporate blood sugar monitoring technology for use in those aged 7 to 17. The devices work by placing sensors under the skin to constantly monitor blood sugar levels.
