Davisco Foods expands cheese plant in South Dakota

Davisco Foods is expanding its Lake Norden Cheese Co. plant in South Dakota to increase its whey processing capacity by 60%. The $8.22 million project, expected to be completed in May, includes the addition of a new whey pasteurizer and 50,000 square feet of dry storage space, as well as upgrades to the plant's utility infrastructure.
