Sprint eyes link with consumer-electronics devices

Sprint Nextel CEO Dan Hesse believes the wireless carrier can make a big dent in the wholesale business of selling connections to other electronics devices, he said in an interview. Hesse also said that the black-and-white TV ads featuring him strolling through downtown Manhattan have proved successful, but that he will be absent from the next set of spots because, "I'll wear out -- they'll get tired of seeing that guy."
