Sunoco bans buyers of BPA from using chemical in children's products

Gas and chemical giant Sunoco says it has started requiring its customers to guarantee that its bisphenol A will not be used to make food and water containers for children younger than 3. The company said the policy was prompted by concerns from investors, including an order of Franciscan nuns. The ACC has argued that BPA is safe in low exposure levels and is among the most-tested chemicals.
