Textron CEO receives reduced pay of $9.8M for 2008

The chief executive officer of Textron received reduced compensation of $9.8 million in 2008, compared with his 2007 pay package of $11.8 million. Lewis B. Campbell received $1.1 million in salary and the remainder in performance-based bonuses, stock options and awards and use of the company jet. Textron produces Cessna jets, Bell helicopters and E-Z-GO golf carts but has faced a decline in orders for business jets.
