Boston Consulting Group's six-month review of the Securities and Exchange Commission's internal operations indicates that more oversight of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority is needed. The report notes the importance of the SEC's supervision of FINRA, which provides market surveillance of most of the equities trading in the U.S.
