Aviation enthusiasts want to run Calif. airport as a nonprofit

Pilot Joe Borzelleri is rallying people to run Sutter County Airport in California as a nonprofit organization. "We can form a nonprofit to manage the day-to-day operations, but we need the help of enthusiastic pilots, aircraft owners and friends of the airport," Borzelleri said. If the plan flies, the general aviation airport would be owned by Sutter County but "leased to a nonprofit management group," this feature says.
