Cataract surgery restores seal's vision

Buck, an elderly harbor seal at California's Fresno Chaffee Zoo, developed bilateral cataracts that were reducing his vision. After one cataract began to move, a veterinary team surgically removed both cataracts, successfully restoring Buck's vision. After a three-week recovery period, Buck is back to impressing zoo visitors.
