Dating violence is not always reported by teens, young adults

More than 50% of 15- to 22-year-olds surveyed said they know a victim of dating violence or sexual assault, but 40% said they would not know how to handle witnessing an assault. Young women were more likely than young men to be victims of sexual assault but were three times more likely to have hit their partners.
