Kubota official projects $14.6B in revenue with falling yen

Increased demand from Southeast Asia and North America, along with a falling yen, could boost Kubota's revenue by 20% -- to $14.6 billion -- in its next fiscal year, according to Kubota President Yasuo Masumoto. Kubota is planning to acquire overseas companies worth about $2 billion in a bid to compete with Deere, Masumoto said.
