Imaginative fees chip at travelers' wallets

Hotels and airlines are finding more creative ways to separate travelers from their cash. Expect to pay for early hotel check-ins, booking flights online and even shipping airlines the clothes purchased to replace lost luggage. By one estimate, hotels made $2.1 billion in fees last year, a 6% increase over 2012.
