Medicare contractor agrees to cover Si-Bone's spinal fusion system

An earlier noncoverage decision for Si-Bone's iFuse spinal fusion system has been reversed by Medicare contractor Palmetto GBA. The reversed ruling allows reimbursement on a case-by-case basis for certain patients undergoing the iFuse sacroiliac procedure in West Virginia, Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
