New York Times strengthens focus on mobile apps

More than half The New York Times' revenue comes from circulation and digital subscriptions, which grew in the fourth quarter as advertising revenue fell for the 13th consecutive quarter. The paper is beefing up its digital presence and plans to offer an $8-a-month limited digital subscription in the hopes of bringing in even more subscribers who read on mobile devices.
