Good nutrition begins with a supermarket strategy, and that starts with a shopping list, registered dietitian Sharon Richter says. Map out a strategy at the store that includes shopping the perimeter first to stock up on fresh, healthy foods, and then go through interior aisles with an eye on product labels to watch for calorie, fat, sugar and fiber content, Richter says.
