Wis. Legislature passes business tax credit for wellness

The Wisconsin Legislature passed and sent to Gov. Scott Walker the "Healthy Jobs Act" that gives small businesses that create wellness programs a tax credit equal to 30% of their costs in implementing the benefit. A wellness program was defined as a health or fitness initiative that has health risk assessments.
