South Africa revamps HIV/AIDS plan

South Africa today launched a new national HIV/AIDS plan aimed at addressing an epidemic that sees 1,500 people infected every day. The plan envisages cutting infection rates by 50% and providing treatment to 80% of HIV/AIDS sufferers by 2011.
