China aims to work on high-speed rail projects in U.S.

China wants to bid on high-speed rail systems now planned in states such as California, Illinois and Florida. Wang Zhiguo, a deputy railways minister, said China is establishing companies to bid on the projects. "China is willing to share its mature and advanced technology with other countries to promote development of the world's high-speed railways," Wang said.
