Using technology to customize student learning

More schools and educators are using technology to customize lessons and learning for individual students. Examples include special assessments that are based on students' strengths and weaknesses, data-driven lesson plans and assignments, and hands-on technology projects that fulfill curriculum requirements. However, experts say definitions are still evolving about what personalized learning means and how it is best used to improve achievement and inspire lifelong learning.
