Facebook boasts 8 million businesses on revamped pages

Eight million brands have made the transition to Facebook's revamped pages, a sign that the social network's plan to attract businesses is paying off. Dr Pepper Snapple Group is among brands that tested Facebook's paid-ad model, finding that 83% of Dr Pepper's 11 million fans saw the ad over a 28-day period. Einstein Bros Bagels successfully floated a coupon.
