Group issues guidelines on treating pediatric acne

The American Acne and Rosacea Society has released the first comprehensive guidelines on pediatric acne management, which include a classification scheme as well as treatment algorithms. "We had a strong desire to increase recognition and improve management of pediatric and adolescent acne across the spectrum of primary and specialty care," said guideline-writing panel co-chair Dr. Lawrence F. Eichenfield.
