Pricing for long-term-care insurance increases between 6% and 17%

Low yields on fixed-income securities and low interest rates are key causes of this year's pricing increases of 6% to 17% for long-term-care insurance, according to the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. The association's 2012 National Long-Term Care Insurance Price Index shows that the gap between the lowest-price and highest-price coverage widened this year.
