Researchers hope to revive the mammoth with cloning

Researchers from South Korean and Russia say they want to clone a woolly mammoth using frozen remains discovered beneath the Siberian permafrost. Korean researchers have already successfully cloned animals such as cows, cats, dogs, pigs and coyotes, and say it should be possible to re-create the prehistoric animal if they can find intact DNA in the thawed-out remains.
