AT&T: Disposing of non-core assets not "off the table"

AT&T said it would be willing to sell some non-core assets, though it declined to respond to an analyst's prediction the carrier might put its wireless broadcast towers on the market. "We've seen others in the industry sell non-core assets, and if we wanted additional flexibility, that could be an option for us too," AT&T's Brad Burns said. RBC analyst Jonathan Atkin estimated the carrier could raise up to $5 billion if a tower sale came to fruition.
