Cocoa Family debuts transparency program

Cocoa Family has introduced a program that uses QR codes to give manufacturers detailed information about cocoa ingredients, including where they were grown and when they were harvested. "It is not enough anymore to just be labeled organic or kosher. We are making sure that our buyers have the knowledge of where and when the cacao ingredients were produced," said Vaagn Arakelyan, director of Cocoa Trade.
