Wis. nuclear plant to shut down in May, Dominion says

Dominion Resources' Kewaunee Power Station in Wisconsin will shut down on May 7, the company said. Dominion said in October that it would close the facility after it was unable to find a buyer. "[T]he existing decommissioning trust funds for KPS are adequate to fund estimated license termination (radiological decommissioning), spent fuel management, and site restoration costs," Dominion said.
