Miss. Senate, House pass voucher bills for students with disabilities

Miss. lawmakers have passed bills to provide students with disabilities who withdraw from public schools debit cards with more than $6,000 for private schooling, tutoring or therapy services. One version limits the use of funds to providers approved by the Department of Education and to students with individualized education programs. The House and Senate now must reconcile their bills' differences.
