New York Times spotlights effort to provide affordable housing for LGBT retirees

The nation's aging population of LGBT baby boomers is increasingly relocating to housing projects such as Philadelphia's John C. Anderson Apartments, Michael Winerip writes. The complex, which has dozens of prospective tenants on its waiting list, is the third government-sponsored housing project designed for LGBT residents with low-to-moderate incomes. Three similar complexes are expected to open in other major cities by year's end.
