Possible artifacts in area prolong work on TBM Bertha

Crews need to dig a 120-foot-deep pit in order to fix the bearings and seals on the cutterhead of Bertha, the tunnel-boring machine at work on Seattle's Highway 99 tunnel. But, before that can happen, dozens of boring probes need to be made to see if ancient Indian artifacts or other archeological items are in the area.
