Wis. district expects snack regulations to take a bite out of revenue

School nutrition professionals in at least one Wisconsin district are concerned that new federal standards for school snacks, taking effect July 1, could cut down on revenue from à la carte items. One official expects the changes will leave her district with a $100,000 structural deficit for the foodservices program.
