Superfoods For Women Not Available In Canada

While American women enjoy foods marketed as "superfoods," their Canadian counterparts won't see these items on local grocery store shelves. Nutritionists in Canada say such gender-specific products that claim to ward off breast cancer and osteoporosis give women a false sense of security. Infusing cereals and oatmeal with folic acid, iron and calcium does not guarantee to prevent or cure diseases, says researchers.
