Maine stimulus funds should put 3,400 back to work in construction

John O'Dea, executive director of Associated General Contractors of Maine, said the stimulus package should put 3,400 construction workers back on the job in the state. O'Dea spoke at the Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor. The majority of the state's stimulus funds will go towards infrastructure of roads and bridges, with some funds earmarked for school construction, O'Dea said.
