FDA clears Rex Medical's thrombectomy system

The FDA has given Rex Medical 510(k) clearance for its Cleaner rotational thrombectomy device used for opening clogged vessel dialysis fistulae and synthetic dialysis access grafts in end-stage renal disease patients. Argon Medical Devices will be in charge of selling and distributing the device in the U.S., Europe and Canada.
