Holstein cows in Canada "tweet" about milking output

Dairy cows that are part of a media-laboratory project by the University of Waterloo in Canada "post" tweets on Twitter with the aid of a computer and a robotic milker. The cows are fitted with radio frequency ID tags that provide the computer information, such as milking output, every time the animals approach the robotic milker. The milking data are then added to a list of pre-written messages that are circulated in the tweets.
