Showtime employs social media in latest Emmy campaign

Showtime for the first time will use social-media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to keep TV academy members updated as Emmy season rolls around. "Through social networking, we can now inform and communicate with awards voters instantly, providing them with valuable information that will provide easy access to Showtime programming in a user-friendly environment," Showtime's Richard Licata said.
