GOP disagreement raises another threat of government shutdown

The threat of a U.S. government shutdown arose again after two high-profile, conservative Republicans announced their opposition to the latest stopgap measure. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, called for fast action to impose deeper spending cuts and criticized a temporary-budget bill awaiting action in both houses of Congress.
